Asbestos Awareness

Due to the grave risks of asbestos, is crucial that people be trained correctly and informed of its risks.

However, unbeknownst to the people using it, asbestos is an extremely dangerous substance and can cause respiratory illnesses and types of cancer. 20 tradesmen die from asbestos-related diseases every single week.

If you have carried out work on a building that was built or refurbished before the year 2000, you could have been exposed to asbestos without realising. Asbestos-related diseases kill more people than any other single work-related illness and can take anywhere from 15-60 years to appear.
